Mystery Picture – Eight of 8ight

Well I hope you have enjoyed the latest series of 8ight images?
A series of eight mystery pictures from around Loughborough, the town of my birth.
They were taken during my trip last month to dear old blighty.

Some of the locals who over the years haven’t managed to escape may whinge and moan about the town, if the letters page of the Echo are anything to go by? But there is still something about the place that I miss. Far far easier for me to say having escaped to paradise I know.

As I look out of my window over the Savannah of Far North Queensland, Australia there’s not a cloud in the sky, no traffic has gone past for nearly an hour and it is the main road from Cairns to Broome. Bugger I speak too soon! There goes a Grey Nomad towing a caravan behind his Landcruiser.
Some Loughboroughans may think I have the perfect lifestyle? It is but if I could just be back in the Market Place for one moment. My arm around the Sockman, a pint in hand… Sigh.
