Christmas – Seven of 8ight

Your Majesty I have taken a leaf out of your book and prepared this  post a few days in advance as I shall be out on Christmas day. The English nurse and myself have been invited to spend the day on a Cattle station which will be exciting.  The property is huge, infact it is larger than a few of the counties in your realm. Apparently the distance from the main road to the front door is like driving from Loughborough to Melton Mowbray.

So another year will soon draw to a close and if I may borrow one of your phrases ma’am? It has been a bit of an  ‘Annus Horribilis’ for myself and my fellow supporters of Leicester city. Relegated for the first time in the clubs history to League Division One. Now you can spin that all you like but it’s still Division 3.  Mind you things are looking up for the supporters and the team now that Mr. Mandaric has replaced that old blogger with Nigel Pearson as manager.

Mr. Pearson has worked wonders during  his short reign in charge having guided the team to the top of the league. I know that it is early days and we shouldn’t get too carried away as we don’t want to come down with the trimmings! But you never know once a few Premier League Championships are in the bag you might one day be kind in your New Year honours? As far as I know we have never had a sir at the club, but we’ve had a God.

“Arise Sir Nigel?” maybe not.

All I want for Christmas are 3 points!!
